Current top goal-scorer in the Spanish league (La Liga) and Real Madrid's player Cristiano Ronaldo won three awards presented by the Spanish Liga de Futbol Profesional (LFP) for the best players of the 2013-2014 season, late Monday.
Ronaldo, was awarded the prize for best player, best goal and best forward of the season.
The Portuguese player has also previously won the European Golden Boot for the third time in his career, after scoring 31 goals in 30 matches last season.
Meanwhile, Atletico Madrid's boss Diego Simeone won the coach of the year award for leading his team to be crowned as La Liga champions after 20 years of absence. Moreover, Simeone's team reached the UEFA's Champions League final, where they lost to Real Madrid.
The best defender's award was handed to Real Madrid's Sergio Ramos for the second time in a row, while current Real Madrid's goalkeeper Keylor Navas won the best goalkeepr award for his season with Levante.
As for the rest of the awards, Real Madrid's Luka Modric won the best midfielder award, and from Bacelona, Andres Iniesta won the best attacking midfielder prize, while Rafinha Alcantara was chosen as the best rising star.
Moreover, Yacine Brahimi was voted the best African player in the league, Carlos Bacca from Sevilla won the best American player award and Ivan Rakitic (currently playing for Barcelona) was awarded the prize of fair play for his season with Sevilla as well.
