Tejar Dubai initiative launched by Dubai Chamber

Tejar Dubai, a Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry initiative, is supporting Designs of Hope charity exhibition as part of its entrepreneurship development programme which encourages nascent U.A.E. talent to turn their innovative ideas into a successful business venture.
The platinum sponsorship of Designs of Hope, organised by Dubai Ladies Club, a member of Dubai Women Establishment, came as part of Tejar Dubai's efforts to support the event whose proceeds will go to the U.A.E. Suqia water aid campaign initiated by Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, to provide clean drinking water to five million people around the world.
Essa Ali Al Zaabi, Senior Vice-President, Institutional Support Sector, Dubai Chamber, and General Coordinator of Tejar Dubai, stated that the entrepreneurship development programme's support to the charity exhibition through a special wing is part of its commitment to encourage young Emirati designers to meet experts in the field and to chart out a successful career path for themselves while also supporting a charitable cause in the community.
Al Zaabi urged promising Emirati designers to benefit from the entrepreneurship development programme in honing their creative talent in the area of fashion design and get inspired by top designers and experts in the highly-rewarding industry as they set out to pursue their dream of entering the world of business.
The Tejar Dubai initiative was launched by Dubai Chamber last year under the vision of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, which stresses that entrepreneurship is the shortest route to a bright future. It aims to find and train creative and commercially-minded youths to help them turn their business ideas into a reality.
Not only does the initiative provide youth with access to an extensive development programme, including classroom learning, on-site training, mentoring and business advice, but candidates also get networking opportunities with local and international business leaders and access to investment capital.
