Latest media reports reveal that George and Amal Clooneys marriage is under threat, reports HealthAim. Apparently, Amal fears that the Brangelina divorce saga will end up destroying their marriage as well.
George is known to be good friends with Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. It is learned that Amal does not share the same sentiments for the Tomb Raider star. Reports indicate she believes Jolie to be a die-hard humanitarian.
However, Amal seems to be working toward distancing her husband from Brangelina.
George and Amal wedding happened two years ago. As part of the grand anniversary celebration, Amal asked her husband to buy property in Manhattan.
If they choose to shift to the new house, George will automatically be away from Brangelina as well as Los Angeles. Given the close friendship between Brad and George, the World War Z actor is likely to lean on Clooney for support during the dark phase of his life.
However, if Amal gets her way, Brad will not be able to rely on George for any emotional support.
Amal, a human rights lawyer by profession, does not seem very happy with her husband’s group of friends. Morning News USA reports Amal has been trying hard to keep George away from his other friends as well.
This could also be one of the reasons why she wants George to distance himself from them.
Amal has also been distancing him from Rande Gerber and his wife Cindy Crawford. The couple is said to be close friends with the actor.
