Lady Gaga\'s Applause cover The audio for US pop star Lady Gaga\'s latest single Applause has received nearly three million hits since it was posted on YouTube on Monday .
The song is the first released from her forthcoming album ARTPOP, which is available for pre-order now on iTunes and set for release November 11 through Streamline/Interscope Records.
Lady Gaga is to perform Applause for the first time live at the MTV Video Music Awards ceremony in Brooklyn, New York on August 25.
