Ballan performed solo Oud pieces including \"al-Nahr al-Khaled\" (The Immortal River) by Mohammad Abdelwahab and several pieces by Farid al-Atrash.
The concert\'s theme is \"the greatest rivers of the world\" in which the diversity of different people\'s music is reflected by the variety of rivers in the world.
Ballan told SANA\'s correspondent in Moscow that he feels honored to be participating in this concert and representing Syria at such a prestigious venue.
