Fashion designer Simone Rocha The British Fashion Council (BFC) has today announced that designers 1205, Marques’Almeida, Lucas Nascimento and Simone Rocha will receive catwalk sponsorship from NEWGEN sponsored by Topshop, to showcase AW14 collections at London Fashion Week (14-18 February 2014). In addition, Claire Barrow and Danielle Romeri will receive exhibition sponsorship and Ryan Lo will receive presentation sponsorship. The initiative offers designers financial support and showcasing opportunities at London Fashion Week to present their AW14 collection to influential press and buyers from around the world. The BFC, with support from the NEWGEN committee, chaired by Sarah Mower MBE, and TOPSHOP, will deliver individualised support and business seminars to assist the designers as they build their own infrastructure and skills.
