Elegant collection Elie Saab debuted his Elie Saab Haute-Couture collection for Paris Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2012/2013 at the Pavilion Cambon Capucines  in Paris, France. The show opened with a superb array of embroidered black gowns in tulle, lace and georgette, pearls shone alongside sequins in decorative shapes. The colour black then made way for a typical Saab palette of champagne, pink and sky blue. The finale saw a  breathtaking embossed organza bridal gown with gold brocade leaves.
Saab’s programme notes said the patterns had been “lifted from a palace along the banks of the Bosphorus”, and the glimmering decorative effects did endow the show with a certain Imperial element.
There is no doubt that we will see many Hollywood stars in these gowns and cocktail dresses.
