Givenchy’s collection

Givenchy’s collection For fall 2012, Givenchy designer Riccardo Tisci saddled up for the unveiling of his Autumn / Winter 2012-13 collection, with strong references to equestrian and Paris in the 1970s. Cropped capes and tapered trousers dominated the autumn season. A gothic color palette of black, red and camel grounded the collection of slouchy silhouettes. Hard leather looks were followed up by slip style dresses decorated with delicate lace and glittered accents for a romantic touch to the upcoming autumn. For the horsey aspect, he sent models down the runway in riding jackets, loose jodhpurs, leather chaps, and thigh-high tall boots. Leather coats were quite intimidating with oversized flaps and capes.
Each boudoir-inspired piece was accessorised with a brightly coloured belt, satin choker and super-long black gloves. With strong dark lips and eyes, this look bordered on Gothic and just that little bit creepy.
