Brand's special ambassadors
Two famous S.T.Dupont customers, Audrey Hepburn and Humphrey Bogart, have become the brand's special ambassadors. Two collections that were specially designed for them have been either identically reproduced or given a
modern makeover to take us on a delicious journey to the unsurpassable glamour of the post-war period.
Humphrey Bogart collection:
Vintage bags
Unveiled in 2012, the Humphrey Bogart collection is inspired by the Bogie bag that the actor ordered himself from S.T.Dupont in 1947.
He was looking for a lightweight, elegant travel bag and was immediately struck by S.T.Dupont's idea of a reinterpreted oilskin Doctor's Bag. So the master craftsmen at the Faverges workshops in the French Alps got to work on the Bogie, a unique bag with ultimate chic. The corners are reinforced in cognac leather to match the handle, and the beige canvas is finished with a red, white and blue band (colours of the French flag) on which appear the initials of the illustrious owner.
The Bogie bag has been reedited for S.T.Dupont's 140-year anniversary. The beige oilskin is slightly more rounded, but still sports contrasting vegetable leather. A metal plaque with Bogie's signature recalls the legendary S.T.Dupont expertise, and the pride and passion of our craftsmen, now revived in the newly reopened bespoke workshop. The personalised Bogie, created in 1947, is back!
The choice of the great and the grand for the last 140 years, S.T.Dupont owes its reputation to its extraordinary creativity. The Cosie bag displays S.T.Dupont's flair for current trends. Halfway between a duffle bag and a sports bag, the canvas Cosie is light and modern, and available in four different colours (green, beige, grey and blue) with four different shades of contrasting vegetable leather (black, cognac, grey, chestnut). Antiqued gold details and a tricolour band recall its famous source of inspiration.
A pen and lighter set of pure style:
S.T.Dupont is taking this opportunity to associate its emblematic barley guilloche with this legendary figure. Humphrey Bogart's silhouette is engraved on a shield on the Line 2 lighter, the top of the Elysée fountain pen and ballpoint. These unique Humphrey Bogart themed objects testify yet again to the consummate skill of S.T.Dupont's goldsmiths.
Audrey Hepburn collection:
A legendary bag
The Audrey Hepburn collection was inspired by the famous Riviera bag created by Dupont at the beginning of the Fifties. The actress discovered it in 1953 and adopted it immediately. Like all the major actresses of the time, Audrey Hepburn needed to have her make-up, perfume and care products with her at all times, even on holiday, when she was often to be seen on the French Riviera.
It could be said that the Riviera was made for her! Acting as both travel bag and handbag, this unique model went everywhere with the actress, who loved its form and feminine detailing, like the secret compartment it used to have.
Today's Audrey Riviera is made of grained pink calfskin with white straps. This timeless bag has lost none of its charm, and can also be produced upon request in all kind of leathers and colours, crafted by hand in S.T.Dupont's Faverges workshops.
A pen and lighter set for a touch of glamour:
Taking inspiration from the hat worn by Audrey Hepburn in Funny Face, the Audrey Hepburn collection has an elegant bow design in powder pink and white Dupont lacquer for the Line 8 lighter and the Liberté fountain pen and ballpoint.
Liberté is a line for women, and since its launch two years ago, it has turned the simple pen into an emblematic personal accessory, perfect for celebrating that icon of femininity, Audrey Hepburn.
