Stripes and maxi dresses dominate her collections Lulu Kennedy has announced plans to open a store to house her increasingly-popular Lulu & Co label."In my dreams, it would be in a refurbished pub that still had a working bar, and some resident fluffy baby pets for customers to play with," Kennedy told Vogue."As well as our range, I would stock my amazing Fashion East designers and do special projects with friends. I have a way to go, but as Walt Disney said 'If you can dream it you can do it!" she added.
The Fashion East founder launched the label in 2010, recruiting upcoming designers to team up on seasonal collections. Now in its seventh collection, the brand's latest collaborator is menswear name Bobby Abley, who Kennedy supported at Fashion East's menswear installations last June.
"I fell for his aesthetic at first sight - it's super-cute and friendly - just like him," she said. "Also he had built an actual flying saucer for his exhibit - how amazing is that? He let me borrow it for the lookbook shoot.
