Philosophy di Alberta Ferretti

The British designer is departing from her post heading up the second line of the Alberta Ferretti fashion house.
Natalie Ratabesi is departing Philosophy di Alberta Ferretti, and the brand's show will be moving back to Italy after a number of years in New York City. The Spring 2015 collection, set to be unveiled in September in Milan, will be designed by an in-house team, according to a report Monday in WWD.
Launched by Alberta Ferretti in 1984 as an offshoot of the Italian designer's hugely popular main line, the Philosophy collection is aimed at a younger audience. Ratabesi joined the company in October 2012 as the first ever independent design head of the label and showed her first Philosophy di Alberta Ferretti collection for Fall 2013.
Previously in a senior role at Polo Ralph Lauren, Ratabesi has also worked at Christian Dior, Oscar de la Renta, Valentino and Gucci after graduating from London's Central Saint Martins fashion school. There's no news yet on who her successor might be.
The Alberta Ferretti brand is part of the Aeffe luxury group, which also controls Moschino and Pollini as well as managing production and distribution for Emanuel Ungaro and Cédric Charlier.
