83-year-old Sonia Rykiel (R) is one of Paris\'s best-known designers French luxury brand Sonia Rykiel has announced a new partnership that will see luxury shoemaker Robert Clergerie produce the runway shoes for Sonia Rykiel as part of the Spring 2014 collection onwards, in a bid to unite the two brands.
Robert Clergerie, headed by French creative director Roland Mouret will be designing the shoes for Sonia Rykiel as part of a rebrand of the famous label, which saw the appointment of Canadian designer Geraldo da Conceiçao (formerly of Louis Vuitton and Yves Saint Laurent) as artistic director in September last year.
Eighty-three-year-old founder Sonia Rykiel is one of Paris\'s best-known designers.
