Collection features dresses and peplum tops New York based designer, Oscar de la Renta, unveiled his latest resortwear collection in New York, this May. The 27-piece line features delicate floral motifs, beading, thread work embroidery and lively Glen plaids.
The ladylike tulle, silk and organza made ensembles are based in a palette of blush, black, navy blue and grey with occasional pops of neon shades.
Available in stores from December 2013 and onwards, the range includes demure sheer dresses, peplum tops, herringbone trousers, skirt suits with Prince of Wales-checks and column gowns.
Primarily known for his red carpet gowns and evening wear, the 80-year-old Oscar de la Renta was trained by the likes of Cristóbal Balenciaga and Antonio Castillo.
