Models showcase creations by Indonesian designer Poppy Theodorin
More than 180 foreign and local brands showcased their latest creations at the recently concluded fourth edition of Indonesia Islamic Fashion Fair 2013.
Held in the country’s capital
city of Jakarta, the four-day-long event featured fresh Muslim fashion trends designed by the likes of Nieta Alphiana Chandrajani Hidayani, Yuyuk Nurmaisyah and Malik Moestaram.
Popular designer Dian Pelangi showcased a simple yet chic feminine collection titled Ramadan Rose at the event. The tie-and-dye fabric made line included abayas of varied lengths, blouses, pants, rose petal hijabs and jackets based in shades of pink, purple and minty green.
In addition to the display of fashion creations, seminars and talk shows on topics like latest developments in Muslim dresses were also organised on the sidelines of the event.
