History was made in the couture creations

History was made in the couture creations Princess Diana of Wales' most iconic gowns will go up for auction on March 19. The collection was originally bought at a charity sale arranged by the Princess herself a few months before her death in August 1997.
The upcoming collection will feature dresses by designers including Zandra Rhodes and Bruce Oldfield, including the blue velvet gown Diana wore when she danced with John Travolta at a State dinner thrown by the White House in November, 1985.
It also features an emerald green velvet dress with a child-size hand print, presumed to be the mucky paw of one of the late Princess' then-young sons. Estimates for the couture creations range from £20,000 to £200,000. Found out more at www.kerrytaylorauctions.com.
