Lanvin collection Lanvin presented Autumn/Winter 2012 collection during Paris Fashion Week, starting with zestful and vibrant jewel tones, of electric blue, scarlet and canary yellow; peplumed suits, body conscious silhouettes and luxe detailing such as dramatic pleats, fur and lace accents dominated the runway. The party section of the collection announced itself with gold fabrics then embellishment came in the form of cocktail dresses richly bejeweled or adorned with coiled ruffles. The show closed with a black lace minidress with blue elbow length gloves, a red coat and belt, and pink shoes. A black bustier dress with calico ruffles, got whoops from the crowd.
The collection is aimed for the sexy and independent women; we liked in particular the short dresses with different styles and colors.
