Britney Spears nervous at X Factor photo call Britney Spears has been revealed as a judge on the revamped second series of The X Factor in the US. The one-time teen starlet joins music producers LA Reid and Simon Cowell as well as young star Demi Lovato.
But it seems nerves got the better of Britney at a promo for the talent show in New York.  The singer clearly feeling a little jittery before meeting the press, was seen biting her nails until they bled.
The Toxic singer is an habitual nailbiter when feeling anxious, and four years ago she vowed to quit the habit. She said at the time: “I have to learn to stop biting my nails! I would like to stop worrying so much, because I worry all the time.”
Meanwhile, Britney looked sexy in a figure-hugging white dress. Later she changed into a slick burgundy frock as she posed next to head judge Cowell. While the mother-of-two has a troubled history, including a high-profile mental breakdown in 2008, her new boss Simon Cowell isn\'t concerned.  When asked if he was worried about her appearing on live television, he said: “Not at all”.
