Zac Posen Fall 2012 collection

Zac Posen Fall 2012 collection Zac Posen Fall 2012 collection was modeled during New York Fashion Week. Models with spiky buns took to the runway in a collection that consisted mainly of tailored skirt suits and super-fitted dresses in silk and jacquard, and evening gowns. Looks were paired with printed obi belts in a collection rich with jewel tones of dark red, emerald green, shiny gold and deep navy. Posen featured a series of his signature, sexy gowns, some with kimono-like wide, draped sleeves. Nearly all the pieces shown in the Lincoln Center tents where Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week is held had mermaid or fishtail hemlines, with fabric flowing and gathering at the model\'s knees and feet. The fitted cocktail dresses were gorgeous, but the dramatic fishtail dresses with origami pleats and heavily structured tops were no doubt the stand-out pieces of the show, along with that finale dress, a huge blue ball gown modelled by Posen\'s muse, Coco Rocha. We will definitely see these dresses on the red carpet soon.
