Got to Dance judge Ashley Banjo will choreograph the dance class Fitness First are set to launch Diversity Street Dance this April in selected clubs across the United Kingdom. Created exclusively by internationally acclaimed street dance troupe and Britain’s Got Talent winners Diversity, the street dance exercise class is set to take the UK by storm and back-flip over the traditional workout.Choreographed by Diversity leader and Got to Dance judge Ashley Banjo, Diversity Street Dance fuses energetic street dance moves with traditional fitness, taking members through a high powered routine set against a soundtrack of fun filled, fast tempo music. The class adds a funky atmosphere to a fantastic all-body workout.
Designed to suit all levels from beginners all the way to the more experienced of dancers, Diversity Street Dance comprises a series of three routines which will be taught in sessions. Combining cardio, strength, conditioning, balance and flexibility with Diversity’s iconic street dance moves. Each routine is set to a different genre of music, these range from Breaking to Dubstep to House with corresponding soundtracks to engage the body and mind to the beat of the tracks.
There are also several variations of the exercises and routines meaning that members will never get bored and stay motivated until they see results. Ashley Banjo of Diversity said: “Diversity Street Dance is for absolutely anyone. One of our hopes of doing the class is to attract more people to Street Dance. The idea is for people to have fun, gain an insight into a different style of dance and learn how to put a routine together. All this as well as getting fit at the same time. We’ve amended the routines and added in more complex steps to challenge anyone who is an experienced dancer so hopefully there should be something in there for everyone no matter what level they are.” For more information visit www.fitnessfirstuk.co.uk/Diversity
