New York City Sun-soaked Orlando has outranked New York to become the most popular destination among Americans for ringing in the New Year, according to an online booking site. After looking at hotel bookings made on December 11 for travel between December 30 and January 2, Hotwire.com has deduced that revelers --  likely those in snow-swept regions -- are opting to ring in the New Year in Orlando, Florida where many attractions are animated and Disney-saturated.
Orlando is likewise the cheapest destination on the list, with an average hotel rate of $89.
Meanwhile, the only international destination to figure on the ranking is London, which landed in 8th spot.
