Jaguar is due to unveil F-Pace before launch in 2016

Ahead of NAIAS in Detroit, Jaguar has confirmed the 2016 launch its first crossover, the F-Pace, based on the XC-17 concept presented in Frankfurt in 2013.
"The Jaguar F-PACE, inspired by the F-TYPE, represents a perfectly judged balance of performance, style and practicality," said Jaguar design director Ian Callum in a release, adding that the new crossover will be the car maker's version of a "family sports car."
With room for up to five passengers in a spacious and luxurious interior, the Jaguar F-Pace is designed to offer smooth driving in all conditions and all types of terrain.
The brand has not revealed when it plans to officially unveil the new vehicle, but the world premiere could take place at the next Geneva Motor Show in March.
