The first Egyptian woman to lead a commercial plane, pilot Nevine Darwish, said that she dreamed of leading a plane since her childhood and tried to focus on her dream.
Darwish added that every girl could reach what she wants by her will and determination, noting that she is honored to lead the largest commercial aircraft in the world..
Concerning the difficulties she faced, Darwish confirmed that leading this aircraft require depth study, great concentration and training, and this is what she did to be able to lead this aircraft, which belonging to Emirates Airline and passed the first flight from Dubai to Vienna.
Dubai-based airline Emirates has posted a video on its Facebook page showing Egyptian pilot Nevine Darwish as the first Arab female pilot to fly the world's largest commercial plane Airbus-380 in celebration of International Women's Day on 8 March.
According to the statement of company, the pilot Nevine Darwish, the youngest female pilot, co-piloted by the Emirati, Alia Al-Muhairi.
"I'm honored to lead the largest commercial aircraft in the world, and also because I am the first Arab or Egyptian woman to lead an Airbus A380, thanks to the training I received from Emirates Airlines," Darwish said.
Darwish advised Egyptian women to follow their dreams and be determined to achieve their goals, saying that through diligence and and strong will nothing is impossible.
