Council of Arab Ministers of Justice

The Executive Office of the Council of Arab Ministers of Justice started here on Tuesday its 59th session at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the Arab League.

Iraqi Minister of Justice Haidar al Zamili chairs the session that is attended by Egypt's Minister of Justice Hossam Abdel Rahim.

The session tackles the Arab Anti-Terrorism Agreement, organized crime, money laundering as well as a number of draft agreements on combating human organs trafficking.

Iraq has submitted a paper that includes many axes, mostly with regard to passing anti-terrorism laws in line with the ongoing clashes in Nineveh that aim to eliminate the presence of Daesh in Iraq.

The paper also calls for providing guarantees of drying up Daesh resources and cutting funding lines to the terrorist group.

The Executive Office of the Council of Arab Ministers of Justice groups Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Kuwait, Mauritania, Egypt, Oman, Palestine and Bahrain.
