Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas will act as a main guest at the 25th session of the African Summit, due to be held in Johannesburg on June 14-15.

Abbas will deliver a speech at the opening session of the summit, Palestinian Ambassador to South Africa Abdel Hafiz Nofal said.

He added that the Palestinian president will hold a series of meeting with African leaders on the sidelines of the gathering.
