Asian Football Confederation (AFC) President Shaikh Salman bin Ibrahim Al-Khalifa has today arrived in Manila, in the Philippines to attend a grand ceremony marking the diamond jubilee (60 anniversary) of the AFC. He will also open the meetings of the Auditing Committee and the Asian Football Cup 2015 Organisation Committee, in addition to the meetings of the legal and financial committees.
Shaikh Salman bin Ibrahim Al-Khalifa will also preside over the meeting of the AFC Executive Bureau on Saturday which will discuss key issues featuring on the agenda. He will also attended on Sunday the laying of the foundation stone for the Goal project in the Philippines, in the presence of FIFA President Joseph Sepp Blatter.
