H.H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, on Wednesday, visited the International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition, ADIHEX, held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, ADNEC, under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler's Representative in the Dhafra Region and Chairman of the Emirates Falconers Club.
H.H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid was accompanied by H.H. Sheikh Surour bin Mohammed Al Nahyan; Sheikh Ahmed bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Representative of the Ajman Ruler for Administrative and Financial Affairs; Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Tourism Development Department in Ajman; Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Ajman Municipality and Planning Department in Ajman; Majid Ali Al Mansouri, Chairman of the ADIHEX Higher Organising Committee and Executive Director of the Emirates Falconers Club, and a number of Sheikhs and senior officials.
Over 650 companies from 40 countries, including 163 UAE companies, in addition to 68 new exhibitors from across the world are displaying their products this year in a space of 43,000 square metres. Sheikh Humaid visited the pavilions offering the latest updates and modern technologies used in hunting and equestrianism.
He praised the focus of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan on heritage and heritage sports and the continuous support of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.
Learning about the latest innovations in hunting and equestrianism, he lauded the organisers of the exhibition, the high level of participation, and the quality of the exhibited items. He said the exhibition presents an opportunity to connect with people concerned with the sports. He further stressed the importance of participating in this international heritage event, which strengthens the concept of preserving the heritage and introduces the youth to the traditions of the country.
He also visited the pavilion of the Hamdan bin Mohammed Heritage Centre, where he was received by CEO Abdullah Hamdan bin Dalmook and informed about the prominent activities, initiatives and championships of the Centre.
Sheikh Humaid commended the Centre for its efforts in strengthening national identity and preserving and documenting UAE’s heritage with the support of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council.
