Algerian Prime Minister Abdelmalek Sellal left here on Friday following a few days' visit to Egypt.
He led his country's delegation to the Egyptian-Algerian high joint commission meetings, which wrapped up on Thursday.
Sellal met with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi as they discussed ways of bolstering cooperation between the two countries in all fields.
They also stressed the need for confronting the hazards threatening the region.
