Armed Forces Commander-in-Chief and Defense Minister Sedqi Sobhi sent a cable of greetings to Abdel Fattah El Sisi on the occasion of al Mawlid al Nabawi (Prophet Muhammed's birthday anniversary), which falls Wednesday.

The commander-in-chief also sent similar cables to the prime minister, Al Azhar grand imam and the mufti.
