Al-Azhar Grand Imam Sheikh Ahmed el-Tayyeb greeted the Egyptian people on the New Year. The Grand Imam is scheduled to visit the St. Mark's Coptic Orthodox Cathedral in Abbasseya on Saturday to greet Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of Saint Mark Episcopate Twadharos II on Christmas.
