King Hamad bin Issa Al Khalifa returned home on Sunday from Egypt where he attended the EEC conference.
The monarch sent a cable to President Abdel Fattah el Sisi thanking him for the hospitality the Bahraini delegation received during the visit to Egypt.
He expressed pleasure for participating in the conference in Sharm El Sheikh.
He voiced hope Egypt will achieve progress and peace in the coming period.
