Beni Suef University will grant on Tuesday honorary doctorate to Pope Tawadros of Alexandria and Patriarch of the See of St. Mark.
The university's president Amin Lotfy underlined important role of the Orthodox church under Pope Tawadros in the Egyptian society and the whole state.
He hailed its historic role in maintaining stability in the country.
