Head of the Evangelical Community in Egypt and Director of Coptic Evangelical Organization for Social Services (CEOSS) Andrea Zaki and Japanese Ambassador in Cairo Takehiro Kagawa opened on Monday a factory for manufacturing prosthetic limbs.
The factory will manufacture prosthetic devices for more than 200 persons with disabilities annually.
Speaking on the occasion, Andrea expressed the CEOSS's keenness on boosting cooperation with the state institutions and other partners to develop the Egyptian society.
For his part, the Japanese diplomat expressed his appreciation of the CEOSS and its role in setting up projects with the Japanese government that granted 91,000 dollars to Egypt to support persons with special needs.
