Chairman of Egyptian Media Production City (EMPC) Osama Hekal denied Wednesday reports on moving the city to the new administrative capital. 

In a statement, Hekal said that the investments of the EMPC 6th of October City are estimated at billions, adding what the EMPC is planning to boost its investments by establishing a new small studio area, as it will be an extension for the company in the new administrative capital with an area not exceeding 5 percent of the area of the original city. 

The idea of the EMPC's extension in the new capital is currently under study by the EMPC's Council.
