Chairman of the Senate of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Faisal Akef Al-Fayez, has received Matar Saif Al-Shamsi, UAE Ambassador to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

The Chairman of the Jordanian Senate congratulated Mr. Al-Shamsi on the occasion of assuming his duties as Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

During the meeting, they discussed means of boosting cooperation between Jordan and the UAE, especially in the field of legislation and laws.

The UAE Ambassador commended the role of the Jordanian Senate in legislative life and in supporting the Arab and just causes in the regional and international arenas, thanks to the wise directives of King Abdullah II of Jordan.
