Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi will start a two-day official visit to Sudan on Sunday.
Wang will meet with his Sudanese counterpart Ali Karti to discuss ways of bolstering bilateral relations in all fields.
They will also hold talks over ways of bringing about peace in South Sudan, Sudanese Foreign Ministry Spokesman Yousef al-Kordofani said.
He added that the meeting will be attended by representatives of South Sudan.
