Dr. Hazem Al Beblawi, executive manager of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and Egypt's ex-Prime Minister, has arrived here in response to an invitation from Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Science.
Dr. Beblawi is due to meet during his six-day visit with a number of Kuwaiti officials including the Kuwaiti minister of finance, the head of the Kuwaiti Central Bank, and the head of the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development, said the Egyptian ambassador to Kuwait Abdel Karim Soliman in statements to MENA correspondent in Kuwait.
Kuwait was among the states that nominated Dr. Hazem Al Beblawi for his current position.
