Education Minister Dr. Majid bin Ali Al-Nuaimi attended a workshop at the Hidd Intermediate School for Girls.

The Directorate of Education Advisory held the workshop under the theme: “Assessment for Learning”.

Addressing the event, Dr. Nuaimi described teachers’ professional development as a priority for the ministry as part of efforts to enhance the performance standard of schools.

The minister toured the school’s training centre and was briefed about the courses and workshops which topped 880 by the end of the first term, benefiting even teachers from other educational establishments.

The courses and workshops focused on achieving the goals of the digital learning empowerment project, the consolidation of e-learning and the production of creative e-learning contents.
