Abu dhabi - Arab Today
President of Egypt, Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, arrived in Abu Dhabi today on a two-day visit to the UAE, during which he will attend the country's celebrations of the 45th National Day anniversary.
He was received at the Presidential Airport by His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.
President el-Sisi was accorded with an official reception, where the national anthems of both countries were played, followed by a 21-gun salute to honour the guest.
The President of Egypt then shook hands with the Sheikhs and senior officials, while His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed greeted the Egyptian officials accompanying President el-Sisi.
