Egypt's Prosecutor General Nabil Ahmed Sadeq left for Rome on Thursday for talks with Italian officials on ongoing investigations into the murder case of Italian student Giulio Regeni.
The Egyptian top prosecutor will brief his Italian counterpart Giuseppe Pignatone on the latest information in the case.
The two-day meeting is the third between the two top officials since Regeni's body was found on the Cairo-Alexandria desert road on February 3, nine days after he disappeared.
