Tunisian President-elect Beji Caid Essebsi will be sworn in as a new a president of Tunisia on Wednesday, according to the Tunisian parliament.
Parliament speaker Mohamed al-Nasser said that Essebsi will take the oath in a plenary session.
Following the sworn-in session, the inauguration would be held in Carthage Palace, al-Nasser added.
In the inauguration,the outgoing president Moncef Marzouki will hand over power to Essebsi.
