Tourism Minister Nayef Fayez on Sunday visited Qasr Al Hallabat and checked on the renovations carried out by the Department of Antiquities and the Spanish Agency for International Cooperation. Located 25 kilometres to the east of Zarqa, Qasr Al Hallabat is one of the Kingdom’s desert castles, a series of fortresses built by the Romans around the 2nd century to cement their presence in the Levant.
