Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukri

Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukri will embark on a foreign tour later on Tuesday that will take him to Tunisia, France, Russia and China where he will hold talks with his counterparts in these nations, according to Foreign Ministry Spokesman Badr Abdel Aati.
Shoukri will meet in Paris with Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Saud al Faysal, he said.
The meetings will tackle ways to enhance bilateral relations in the political, economic and trade domains and ongoing preparations for the economic conference to take place in Sharm el Sheikh on March 13-15.
The Egyptian top diplomat will review with his counterparts the Palestinian issue, the Syrian crisis, the situation in Iraq and Yemen and the need to unify international efforts to confront terror worldwide.
While in Moscow and Beijing, Shoukry will lead a delegation of ministerial liaison of the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) who will expound ways to protect the Arab-Islamic heritage in Al Quds (East Jerusalem).
The delegation will also probe the latest developments in the Palestinian issue and ongoing efforts to resume the Palestinian-Israeli peace talks in conformity with the agreed upon international terms of reference.
