Cairo - Arab Today
Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry will leave for Vienna, Austria, later Wednesday for talks on bilateral relations and regional and international developments.
During his visit, Shoukry will hold important talks with Austrian Chancellor Christian Kern, who will hand him a message to President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, said Foreign Ministry spokesman Ahmed Abu Zeid.
Shourky is also scheduled to confer with his Austrian counterpart on bilateral relations and regional and international developments, Abu Zeid said.
The top diplomat will also inaugurate the Egyptian-Austrian business forum at the Egyptian Embassy in Vienna, the spokesman added.
The forum is meant to enhance trade and economic relations between Cairo and Vienna, Abu Zeid noted.
Shoukry will also be interviewed by Austria's "Der Standard" newspaper and the Austrian TV, the spokesman further said.
