Leaders and heads of delegations of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states began to arrive in the Kingdom of Bahrain to participate in the 37th session of the GCC Supreme Council, which takes place in Bahrain over two days.
Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah arrived in Manama to lead his country's delegation to the 37th summit.
Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, arrived as well in the Bahraini capital to head his country's delegation to the summit that starts later on Tuesday.
In addition, Oman's Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers, Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud al Said, arrived today earlier in Bahrain to chair the sultanate's delegation to the 37tth session.
GCC leaders are set to discuss a number of major political, economic and social issues during the summit.
