Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili announced his resignation Wednesday without explaining his reasons, ABC news reported.

Garibashvili has served as prime minister of the former Soviet nation since November 2013.

Garibashvili didn't immediately specify the reason behind his resignation.
