German Chancellor Angela Merkel will head tomorrow to china accompanied by a high-ranking economic delegation.
Among the stations of Merkel’s visit the Chinese will be the capital Beijing and the city of Chengdu, capital of southwest China’s Sichuan Province.
Merkel is scheduled to hold talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Keqiang , in addition to representatives of the economy and civil society in China.
It is expected that Merkel would call for more freedom for artists, journalists and civil rights advocates in China.
