German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier left here Monday, after a one-day visit to Egypt, where he met with Egypt's President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry.

During the visit, the German foreign minister discussed a range of regional and international issues of mutual interest along with preparations of Sisi's visit to Berlin.
