German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier will embark on a two-day official visit to Tunisia on Friday.
The visit aims at fostering bilateral relations and strengthening strategic partnership between the two countries, a statement by the Tunisian Foreign Ministry said.
It is the second visit of the German top diplomat to Tunisia.
Steinmeier will have talks with Tunisian President Beji Caid Essebsi and other senior officials.
