President of Germany Joachim Gauck Monday arrived in Tunis for a three-day visit.

The German President is set to hold talks with his Tunisian counterpart Beji Caid Essebsi and senior Tunisian officials on bilateral economic cooperation and means to develop it in addition to a number of regional and international issues of common concern.

Germany is Tunisia's third largest economic and trade partner, after France and Italy.
