Egypt's Higher Education Minister Khaled Abdel Ghaffar left on Sunday for the UK for talks on cooperation in the educational and scientific fields.
While there, Abdel Ghaffar is set to meet with Minister of State for Universities and Science Jo Johnson to mull ways to promote cooperation.
They will also discuss how Egypt can benefit from the expertise of the UK universities to boost the higher education system.
The minister is scheduled to confer with a host of Egyptian and British scientists and experts to know their expertise in the scientific and research domains.
Abdel Ghaffar will also visit the Egyptian cultural office in London.
